Abus Targon Helmet: Modular Protection for Extreme Mountain Biking

The full-face modular helmet Targon is the ideal solution for riders who practice downhill and freeride on demanding terrain. Thanks to the removable chin bar with the Speed Latch system, it offers versatility on climbs and full protection on descents. The polycarbonate shell with In-Mold construction ensures a durable bond between the outer shell and the internal EPS impact foam, delivering impact resistance and scratch protection. The aerodynamic design, with sewn straps that do not flap, maintains stability even at high speeds on technical trails.

Comfort and Custom Fit for Long Riding Sessions

Optimal fit is ensured by the Zoom Rapid Fit system, which allows millimetric adjustment via a dial connected to a nylon cable with a steel core. The removable and washable padding keeps the helmet hygienic and comfortable over time, while the adjustable cheek pads provide additional protection and adaptability to different head shapes. The soft padded inserts, secured with Velcro, distribute pressure evenly during extended rides, reducing neck fatigue.

Technological Innovation and Practical Usability

The injected carbon in the plastic material ensures high structural stability while keeping weight low, essential for optimal performance in the bike park and on technical trails. The FIDLOCK magnetic buckle allows the chin strap to be opened with one hand even while wearing gloves, improving everyday usability. The detachable visor protects from sunlight and low-hanging branches, with release technology in the event of a crash to minimize load on the neck. The helmet eyewear recesses ensure a secure, aerodynamic setup while riding.
