Uvex i-volute helmet: protection and performance for road cycling and gravel

The Uvex i-volute helmet is the ideal solution for those who practice road cycling and gravel, combining advanced safety technologies with a lightweight, aerodynamic design. The double inmould construction integrates an impact-absorbing EPS inner layer with multiple polycarbonate layers, ensuring high impact protection while keeping weight down. The Mips system provides an additional level of safety, absorbing rotational impact forces that occur during falls. This technological combination offers cyclists reliable protection without compromising aerodynamic performance, a crucial element for those tackling long distances on the road.

Optimal ventilation and comfort while riding

The active ventilation of the Uvex i-volute helmet is ensured by 25 strategically placed air vents, delivering a constant flow of fresh air throughout the ride. The matte-gloss design is not only an aesthetic choice, but also helps reduce heat absorption. The removable, washable liner, made from recycled materials, makes maintenance easy and ensures long-lasting hygiene. The uvex 3D IAS system allows precise adjustment in both height and circumference, adapting perfectly to different head shapes. The flat straps with Y dividers reduce wind resistance, a key element for aerodynamic performance in competition.

Fit and ease of use for the modern cyclist

The helmet’s superior fit is ensured by the uvex 3D IAS system, available in four sizes (50-54, 52-57, 56-60, 60-64 cm) to ensure an optimal fit. The updated uvex monomatic buckle is a practical innovation, allowing one-handed adjustment even while riding, without the need to stop. This detail is particularly appreciated by cyclists who face temperature changes during long rides. The balance between safety, comfort and practicality makes the Uvex i-volute helmet a smart choice for those seeking reliable performance without compromising everyday functionality.
