Abus TimeShifter Helmet: Aerodynamics and Tested Performance

The Abus TimeShifter Helmet represents a new generation of time trial helmets developed through in-depth CFD analysis, wind tunnel testing, and velodrome validation with WorldTour athletes. The aerodynamic research, conducted in collaboration with Swiss Side, ensures measurable advantages in different head and arm positions, both in ideal conditions and in real race situations. Every structural element of the helmet has been optimized to reduce air resistance and enhance performance in triathlon and time trials, offering professional and amateur cyclists a scientifically driven solution with transparent performance communication.

Advanced Ventilation and Personalized Comfort

The TimeShifters cooling airflow system uses internal channels that direct incoming air, ensuring optimal circulation and a comfortable climate during use. The comfort padding, made with soft removable and washable inserts, helps keep the helmet hygienic and comfortable over time. The removable magnetic visor protects the eyes from wind, rain, and insects, while the Zoom Spin adjustment system at the rear allows for precise individual fit based on head circumference. The ponytail opening also makes the helmet suitable for long hairstyles, ensuring an optimal fit for all users regardless of hair style.

Robust Construction and Innovative Closures

The In-Mold process ensures a durable bond between the shock-absorbing expanded polystyrene (EPS) material and the outer polycarbonate (PC) shell, creating a robust and lightweight structure. The high-quality FIDLOCK magnetic buckle allows one-handed chin closure, even while wearing gloves, improving practicality while riding. The Slide Divider enables individual strap adjustment by sliding, offering a minimalist and functional approach. This combination of technologies makes the TimeShifter a reliable choice for those seeking safety, performance, and practicality in a single product.
