Mavic Comete SL helmet: aerodynamics and ventilation for road cyclists

The Mavic Comete SL helmet is the ideal solution for those seeking the perfect balance between aerodynamic performance and ventilation comfort. The optimized shape has been tested and approved in the Geneva wind tunnel, ensuring reduced air resistance without compromising airflow. The front air intakes, connected to internal ventilation channels, generate a continuous flow that keeps the head cool during intense efforts. This helmet is suitable for both road and gravel riding, offering versatility for different riding conditions. The lightweight construction and ergonomic design make it the preferred choice for cycling enthusiasts who do not want to sacrifice safety for performance.

Retention system and personalized fit

The FidLock magnetic buckle allows quick one-handed adjustment, ideal during stops or when getting on the bike. The new RS360 retention system offers millimetric adjustment that ensures a perfect wrap and a comfortable hold on the head. The adjustable, lightweight straps fit around the ears without twisting and integrate perfectly with any eyewear model. The XRD memory foam on the forehead significantly increases comfort during long riding sessions, while the Glass Garage allows you to safely store your sunglasses when not in use. This combination of features ensures a customized, stable fit in every situation.

Advanced protection and visibility in all conditions

The MIPS safety system reduces the risk of brain injury through rotational technology, an important standard in modern cycling helmets. The extended rear coverage provides greater protection in the occipital area, particularly important for road cyclists. The side and rear reflective zones significantly improve visibility in low-light conditions, increasing awareness among other road users. The reduced weight of just 280 g (Size M) ensures that protection does not place excessive strain on the neck during long rides. Combined, these elements make the Comete SL a reliable choice for those who prioritize both safety and aerodynamic comfort.
