The most aerodynamic road helmet now “breathes” better. The S-Works Evade 3 has been redesigned from the inside out to be cooler while remaining the fastest choice in the peloton. Through extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics and Wind Tunnel testing, Specialized created a rear “diffuser” that helps minimize drag and improve ventilation. The diffuser helps optimize aerodynamic performance by allowing air to exit more easily and enhances ventilation by expelling 10% more air through the helmet at a given speed. The occipital adjustment ensures comfort by allowing the fit to be tailored to the shape of the head and enables changing the helmet’s angle for compatibility with glasses. The TriFix system with thinner straps reduces any irritation. The Mindset retention system is very lightweight and provides excellent grip for on-the-fly adjustments while riding. The MIPS Node Air technology is integrated into the padding, is lightweight, and is designed to dissipate rotational forces in the event of impact. Specialized added perforations for optimal comfort.

The widened front air vents help increase ventilation.
Rear diffuser for aerodynamic and ventilation benefits.
MIPS Air Node is the MIPS solution most focused on ventilation.
The adjustable Tri-Fix web divider increases comfort through a customized fit.
Fully wrapped precision polycarbonate shell for greater durability and a premium finish.
Dual-density EPS foam.
