With the Sram Red AXS E1 shifter, true one-finger braking is possible. Sram has redesigned the hood and lever architecture, making revolutionary advances in fit for hands of all sizes and easy access to powerful, smooth braking from any point on the handlebar. Truly independent reach and contact point adjustment allows for highly customized setup without the risk of pinching fingers or hitting the bar, regardless of settings. Better finger grip on the hood means less fatigue on long days, while bonus buttons let you shift or control ANT+ devices with your thumbs. All this and we still managed to reduce weight by 83 g. Not only is the caliper stiffer, but it is also lighter and offers phenomenal pad clearance for frictionless operation.
